

Michelle joined Apt. A theatre company with the role of Charlotte in A Safe Distance. Michelle Krusiec started her acting training at the Virginia Governor’s Magnet School for the Arts and received a Theatre and English Degree from Virginia Tech University. She completed additional studies at the University of Oxford, and then went on to host two seasons of Travelers for the Discovery Channel, which took her to almost fifty destinations around the world.Within several months of completing Travelers, Michelle was cast as a series regular on NBC’s One World, and in addition, has held recurring and starring roles on such shows as Providence, Popular, Titus, Without a Trace, Monk and E.R. Krusiec can currently be seen worldwide as “Sachiko” on HBO’s The Mind of the Married Man. Her film credits include, Sweet Home Alabama, Daddy Day Care, Duplex, Dumb and Dumberer, Pumpkin (2002 Sundance) and Cursed 2004. A fan of indie shorts, Michelle starred in Tomato and Eggs (Sean Shou) and Best Actress (Carlo Caccavale). Both competed at the San Diego Asian Film Festival and The Los Angeles Italian Film Festival, respectively. For Michelle's next feature, she stars opposite Joan Chen in the independent romantic comedy, Saving Face, produced by Robin O'Hara (Raising Victor Vargas) and Teddy Zee (Overbrook Entertainment).On the stage, Krusiec can also be seen presenting her critically acclaimed one woman show, Made in Taiwan, which first premiered at the prestigious HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Hailed as one of the top ten performers at the festival, the show garnered recognition by both Variety Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter. The show has also been presented at festivals such as the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival, SOLO 2001, and at the cutting edge performance space Highways. Other theatre credits include the role of "Sara" in Janie Geiser's Ether Telegrams presented in conjunction with A.S.K. at UCLA, "Miss Julie" in Miss Julie and "Roberta" in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (presented at Virginia Tech University).Michelle studies with Larry Moss and currently holds a television deal with the ABC network.
